Restoration - Family protrait, 1912?

The original was scanned from a print that was torn, cracked, stained and severly faded, at a resolution of 3051x2340. The print evidenced a severe grain effect which was reduced with filters and hand retouching. Larger defects and missing and obscured areas were hand restored and the background replaced with a textured gradient to match the tonality of the photo. Finally a vignette effect was used to mask the torn corners. Total cost to customer: $200.00.
