Our goal is to preserve your irreplaceable photographs forever and allow you to share them with your entire family at fraction of the cost of making film duplicates. Film will degrade, lose color saturation, and eventually disintegrate, but digital copies will last forever and never degrade. They can be viewed on your computer, on your TV or home theater (with common equipment), and inexpensively printed. Duplicates of entire libraries of photos can be made for a few dollars. Do not confuse sharing prints or low resolution web photos with professional scans which are essentially indistinguishable from the original film image. If the cost is an issue you may wish to consider an option some of our other customers have used, sharing the cost among family members as well as the photos.

All scanning is performed using Silverfast AI Studio scanning software on calibrated scanners using custom generated color profiles for accuracy. Each photograph is examined and scanned individually with any adjustments necessary to get the best result possible. We do not do "batch" scanning like many other services. 35mm scans use Digital ICE dust and scratch removal unless otherwise requested, larger film scans will be done with software dust and scratch removal upon request. Resulting images are returned to you as high quality low compression JPEGs on DVD-ROM with catalog and viewing/slideshow software included at no extra charge. Send photos (original film will result in better scans than prints), safely packaged, to the address below. Include your return address, a valid email address, required scanning resolution, and any special requests. You will receive an email when package is received with detailed charges and instructions for secure online payment. When payment is received scanning will commence. Turnaround time for small jobs (< 200 photos) is usually less than 7 days not including shipping, you will be notified of any delays.
